SLIP, KNIT, PASS OVER
Slip, knit, pass over (SKPO) is a left leaning decrease.
Step by step
Slip, knit, pass over (SKPO) is a left leaning decrease.
To make an SKPO, slip the first stitch onto the right-hand needle without knitting it.
Knit the next stitch.
Using the left-hand needle, pick up the first stitch and pass it over the stitch you just knit. Once you’ve worked the decrease you will have one less stitch on your needle.
Continue working as indicated in the pattern.
